Guarantee & Return Policies

Guarantee Policy for Tree and Shrubs

Full price trees and shrubs are guaranteed for one year from date of purchase. Trees and shrubs sold at sale and clearance prices are not covered under guarantee. Churchill’s will issue a credit up to 50% of original purchase price towards replacement or future purchase when accompanied by a receipt and the plant. No cash will be issued.

If your tree or shrub is not performing well, please contact Churchill’s immediately for help—our goal is to help you in any way possible. Report any problem with your plant to Churchill’s at the first sign of problems. We must be given an opportunity to provide corrective measures to try to save your plant.

Excluded from our guarantee: annuals, perennials, herbs, groundcovers, house plants, vegetables, plants not planted in the ground, plants damaged by mechanical damage and abnormal weather or anything beyond our control.

Please make us aware right away of any issues you have with plant material purchased at Churchill’s Gardens. It is always best to bring a problem plant back as soon as possible accompanied by your sales receipt. We can make no promise about a replacement or credit, but we will do our best to help resolve any problem so that it does not happen in the future.

We are not obligated to replace plants that fail to grow due to neglect, extreme weather conditions, such as drought or water restrictions, or any plant that has been overwintered in a container. Marginal (tender), tropical, or annual plants are not guaranteed to overwinter in our hardiness zone (5).

 

 

Planting Guarantee for Trees and Shrubs

When you purchase a tree or shrub from Churchill’s, you can choose to have us plant it for you. Planting costs are half the price of the original cost of the plant, plus delivery. Please ask a store employee for delivery costs to your area.

If Churchill’s plants your tree or shrub we will guarantee it for 3 years.

If your tree or shrub is not performing well, please contact Churchill’s immediately for help—our goal is to help you in any way possible. Report any problem with your plant to Churchill’s at the first sign of problems. We must be given an opportunity to provide corrective measures to try to save your plant.

 

 

Guarantee for Roses

Full price roses are guaranteed for one year from date of purchase. Roses sold at sale and clearance prices are not covered under guarantee. Churchill’s will issue a credit up to 50% of original purchase price towards replacement or future purchase when accompanied by a receipt and the plant. No cash will be issued.

Roses planted in containers after September 1st are not guaranteed.

If your rose is not performing well, please contact Churchill’s immediately for help—our goal is to help you in any way possible! We want you to be successful and would like the opportunity to provide corrective measures to try and save your rose.

Planting Service: We do not plant roses. If you need more comprehensive services, we will be happy to connect you with a qualified landscaper.

 

 

Return Policy for Plants (All others besides trees & shrubs and roses)

Plants can not be returned under any circumstance due to contamination and unknown conditions they were in. We are not obligated to reimburse for plants that fail to grow due to neglect, extreme weather conditions, such as drought or water restrictions, incorrect planting and/or planting site, and general carelessness. If you have any questions on how to care for your plant, please talk to a Churchill's employee. Our goal is to help you be successful! Please note that we can typically diagnose cause of death of plants- this is often helpful to customers for future purchases and diagnosis. We pledge that all full priced plants are healthy when purchased.

 

Return Policy for Gift Store

Unopened and unused store items may be returned within 10 days of the original purchase date and accompanied by the original receipt. Returns without receipt are eligible for store credit only. Sale and clearance items are final sale. Credit will be issued in the original form of payment..

 

Gift Card Policy

You may use a gift card at Churchill's simply by handing it to the cashier for payment when making a purchase. Churchill's gift cards are not to be confused with a credit or debit card and have no implied warranties. They are redeemable for merchandise only. Unused value remains on the card and cannot be redeemed for cash. Churchill's is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged gift cards or unauthorized use of gift cards.

 

Exchange Policy for Outdoor Living and Pottery>

Pottery and Outdoor Living products are eligible for 10 days exchange only. Returns are not allowed. Exchanges may be for equal value of store credit. Sale and clearance items are final sale and may not be exchanged.
